Quick delivery for islanders.
AirDrop is an IoT-based university project where the goal is to design a drone delivery service for islanders. The service would deliver orders from the mainland to consumers who live on the islands.
Some of the features in the design considerations include the permissions for an AR-based localizer that gives drones or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) permission to land in a user specified location.
Users can order a variety of mainland-based items such as wines from local wineries, and beers to flowers and tea. Post-user evaluation, a big consideration is to include groceries in the selection.
Users can track their delivery every minute, en route to their specified location.
